Questions
Do you have access to my funds?
No. The bot uses your exchange API keys, which we configure with trading permissions only and withdrawals disabled. We never hold funds and cannot move them.
Will Freqtrade make me money?
Nobody can promise that, and we do not. We sell the installation, hardening and hosting of the software. Strategy performance is yours; markets carry risk, which is why we set you up in dry-run first.
Why is Freqtrade in the top tier?
Because it touches exchange keys and live orders. Key scoping, risk limits, monitoring and alerting have to be engineered strictly, and that work is the price.
Do I need to write the strategies myself?
Freqtrade ships example strategies and a large community library; strategies are Python. We install, backtest and deploy the strategy you choose, but we do not author or recommend strategies.
