How is RAGFlow different from a simple chat-with-PDF tool?
The parsing. RAGFlow reads documents with layout awareness (tables, sections, scans) and cites its sources, which is what makes answers defensible in professional use.
Why is RAGFlow in the top tier?
Its parsing and indexing pipeline is heavier than a typical web app: more services, more memory, more careful sizing. The install and the hosting reflect that.
Do my documents leave the server?
Documents are stored and indexed on your single-tenant instance. Only the text passages needed for an answer are sent to the model you configured, under your key.
