A remote AI development workstation, hardened
The coding harness is a remote development server with the AI coding tools you use, installed and hardened by us. You bring your own subscriptions and keys; we provide the server, the security, the configuration and the updates. You reach it from anywhere over an encrypted connection.
What it does
- Reads a stack trace or an issue, finds the code and proposes a fix.
- Writes tests and runs your test suite on the server.
- Opens pull request drafts; merging stays your decision.
- Runs scheduled maintenance tasks you define.
Replay of a typical task
- SentryTypeError in checkout.ts line 142, 37 events in an hour.
- agentReads the stack trace and opens the file in the repository.
- agentWrites a fix and a regression test, runs the test suite.
- agentAll tests pass. Opens a draft pull request with the explanation.
- developerReviews the draft and decides whether to merge.
Reconstruction of a typical task with fictitious data. Each step matches a feature documented by the project.

Common questions
Do you resell model subscriptions?
No. You use your own subscriptions and keys. We install and configure the tools.
Can the agent merge code?
We configure it to open drafts. Merging stays a human decision unless you decide otherwise.
Why is OpenHands only in Team and Business?
OpenHands needs more resources and more configuration than the command-line tools, which the larger sizes include.
